Description:
The Brake Valve is used in pneumatic braking system of trucks, buses, trolleybuses and wheel tractors.
It is operated mechanically by suspended pedal, ensuring that the brake chambers in each of two circuits, as well as control chambers of other pneumatic apparatus of the Brake System, are filled with compressed air following appropriate filling speed and with appropriate tracking. PJSC "Poltava Automobile Unit Plant" has been accredited in compliance with ISO-9001: 2000 quality management system standards and received certification from the following agencies: UkrSEPRO conformance certificate of State Standard ISO 9001-2009 requirements № UA 2.003.05409-10 from 11th November 2010 and TUV Rheinland InterCert (Germany) conformance certificate of ISO 9001:2008 requirements № 7510060150 from 9th March 2011. These certificates cover designing, development and manufacturing of vehicles brake gear devices, pneumoapparatus for manufacturing equipment and consumer goods.

PAAZ has it’s own brake gear testing laboratory, accredited by National Standard of Ukraine to perform certification tests, where we continuously control the quality of our products.

In order to satisfy its foreign customers, PJSC “Poltava Automobile Unit Plant” has a wide and constantly growing dealer network in CIS countries. This mission includes a bulk of effort from our technical departments: engineering dept., experimental area, testing laboratory, technological and tool production depts. Just for “Pavlov Bus Plant” Ltd. we have developed three new products: Reverse Hand Brake Valve 11.3537410/-10, Two-Section Brake Valve with Pedal 11.3514308, Air Dryer 11.3536008, which are now being arranged for mass production.

On-road tests of valves 11.3537410, conducted by our customers “PAZ”and “Likino Bus Plant” have confirmed their dependability and vehicle producers have agreed to use these valves on assembly instead of HB1242 produced by «KNORR-BREMSE». Currently a preproduction series of 11.3537410 valves is being tested at “MAZ”, “URAL” and “Donetsk Excavator”.

The most demanded item among those being arranged for mass production is Air Dryer 11.3536008, which has successfully passed laboratory tests at “KAMAZ”, “MAZ” and on-road tests at “PAZ”, “RIAT”, HC “AutoKrAZ”, “Boryspil Bus Plant

Currently we are restoring partnership with Minsk Automobile Works and have already started supplying serial brake gear and are arranging the production of new items 11.3518010-20, 11.3522008-10.

Also there’ve been made arrangements for buying and implementing new-generation equipment. Thus, we have signed contracts for delivery of GT-20 turning lathes, produced by “HAAS” (USA), melting furnaces PTS650/12, PTSP570/12 produces by «LAC s.r.o» (Czech Republic). Contract with “WAFIOS” (Germany) for FSE23 machine is currently being negotiated.

In the end of 2006 we implemented automated design for production tools: moulds for pressure casting of aluminum alloys, plastics, stamps for sheet-metals stampings and other equipment, which allowed us to reduce design time-frame and improve quality.

Ensuring the image of a reliable supplier and active cooperation with our customers in the technical field, the ability to meet their needs for new and upgraded products have resulted in growing sales and stability.

As a result of the operation during ten months of 2007, PJSC “Poltava Automobile Unit Plant” has increased sales 1,3 times comparing to similar period of 2006, reaching $13,8 million, which is $3 million growth; this includes $12,01 million sales of brake gear.

Paaz 3In total volume of shipped products in 10 month of 2007 we exported 72,9%. Sales have grown in Russia (24,1%), Germany (44,8%), Moldova (400%), Kazakhstan (300%), Belorussia, Georgia, Latvia and other countries.

Stable growth of financial has allowed investing into the social sphere. Comparing to the last year, average monthly salary has grown 1,75 times and as for Nov 1st it’s reached $360.

The company cares about its employees and values the team of professionals working at PAAZ.

There are substantial showings in the social and cultural spheres:
- 250 employees and their families will be recreated in Crimea with company’s assistance.
- PAAZ pays tuition of 40 students, including 12 employees who study externally.
- 18 students graduated in 2007, including 5 externals. Annual tuition costs reached $25 750.

The administrative staff is actively working on improvement of working conditions and social programs. One of such programs is company policy in the field of occupational safety. Total number of employees at PJSC “Poltava Automobile Unit Plant” amounts to 1361 people.

Mechanical processing

Our company has the full complex of equipment for mechanical processing of non-ferrous articles.
The mechanical processing shop includes 12 production lines. The total number of equipment equals 205 units.
Machining of the rods, circles, tubes up to 65 mm and a length up to 3000 mm in the automatic machines.
Machining of plastic parts. Thread rolling up to 10 mm.
Machining of castings from aluminum, zinc alloys up to 160 mm.
Mechanical treatment on horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers.

Foundry


We are able to cast any non-ferrous articles in accordance to customer design.
The plant has a separated foundry shop with two sections: die casting and permanent-mould casting.
Compositions used in casting are: for die casting - АК12М2, АК7p, TSA4М1; for permanent-mould casting - АК5М2.
Production capacity: 150 ton of casting per month.
Casting by injection molding from aluminum, zinc and other easily fusible alloys. Using machines with a cold horizontal pressing chamber, with closing force of 250 to 420 m/s, a mass from 0.050 kg to 6.0 kg.
Casting into metal permanent-mould of aluminum alloys on the chill casting machines with manual and hydraulic drive. The weight of castings from 0.050 kg to 6.0 kg.

Coiling of cylindrical, conical compression and extension springs from wire from 0.5 to 4.5 mm and a maximum outside up to 80 mm.
Resurfacing the ends of the coil spring with the wire diameter under 5 mm, diameter of the spring up to 80 mm, and up to 200 mm in height.
Cutting of tubes, rods, circles with a diameter from 28 to 300 mm on the band saw machine.
Production of stamped parts from sheet and tape material (operations - cutting, bending, stretching, etc.) at crank presses up to 100 ton.
