Beregovo Canning Factory
The production facilities of the "Fruit Master Foods" Group of Companies are located in the Trans-Carpathian ecologically clean area and are based on the Beregovo Canning Factory.
Today, this is the enterprise having 60-year production experience, deep-rooted traditions, history and culture of production. The staff of the factory consists of 400 employees, each of them possessing a unique experience and checking that the finished product quality requirements have been met with regard to particular operations and processes.
The enterprise is furnished with advanced equipment, which was produced by the SIG Combibloc Austrian company, which has been known on the world packaging market for longer than 100 years and is the world leader in the sphere of production of carton aseptic packages.

The key components of the success that has been attained by the Fruit Master Foods Company involve the explicit development strategy, healthy ambitions, a considerable experience in conducting business on the market and deep insight into the market trends, thorough quality control and the excellent production basis in the Trans-Carpathian area, which is famous for its unique micro-climate.
Belonging to the company's trademarks that have already become rather popular with the consumers are such juices and nectars as "Ya + Semiya" ("I+Family"), "Beregovskiy", "Jungle Way", juice-containing drinks "Da!" ("Yes!"), wines "Cotnar".
The fundamental principle maintained by Fruit Master Foods is based on the provision of the top quality of the product. That is the reason why the company does not only carry out rigorous quality control but also participates intensively in exhibitions and contests, i.e. in the events where the product advantageous features may be appreciated by others.
The company's products were the prize-winners at national contest "100 Best Goods of Ukraine". In addition, the whole range of products made at the Beregovo Canning Factory was awarded the "Highest Standard" decoration in 2006 as the range of top-quality products. At the same time, the grape-apple nectar of the "Beregovo CF" trademark became the winner at contest "The Best National Product of Year".
Two of the most popular flavours of “Da!” range were awarded with diplomas by Second National tasting competition “BEST DRINK 2011”. Apple and multivitamin juice drinks won the 1st and 2nd places in the categories "Naturalness of the taste gamma" and "Naturalness of the flavour."
While making their quality and management standards still higher, Fruit Master Foods is engaged in the process of implementation and certification of the integrated management system project, in accordance with world requirements ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 22000:2005.
SIG Combibloc
SIG Combibloc, being a long-term partner of the Fruit Master Foods Company as regards the production of packages, is the leading European company that has been running the packaging business for more than 100 years. SIG Combibloc forms a part of the SIG Holding AG holding, with their headquarters being located in Switzerland. Beginning from May, 2007 SIG Holding AG has been owned by Rank Group, New Zealand.
During the last 40 years the SIG Combibloc company has been specialized in designing and producing aseptic packages and equipment intended for filling packages with milk, juices, non-carbonated drinks, wine, soup, sauces, baby food, having long-term shelf-life.
The line filling rate varies, depending on package sizes:
1500 – 2000 ml : 9000 and 6000 pcs /hour
500 – 1100 ml : 9000 and 12000 pcs / hour
125 – 500 ml – 12000 and 24000 pcs / hour
As of today, the Fruit Master Foods Company is engaged in the production of juices, nectars and beverages in the Combibloc packages.
Beginning from 2008, the company started to manufacture products in the Sub-Premium category, format CombiFit-Premium.
The above-mentioned format has already gained recognition on the part of the largest world manufacturers, in particular, on the part of Russian manufacturers.
Skylong
Fruit Master Foods has gained the image of a reliable partner and producer of high-quality foodstuffs. This fact attracted interest of large trading networks regarding cooperation in joint projects, so called «Private Label».
Thus, in 2006 Fruit Master Foods has entered into agreement with the national supermarket network Furshet on production of ТМ Furshet.
Juices and nectars of «top» tastes, such as tomato, apple, and multifruit juice with pulp (from yellow fruits: peach, pear, apricot) – were specially developed for this trading network and are bottled to 2.0 l SIG Combibloc packing.
Quality
The special attention of the Fruit Master Foods Company is focused on the matters of product quality, which is due to the fact that success of any product on the market is based on the systematic approach to the issues of quality and safety on every level. The task of quality control being carried out at the Fruit Master Foods is allotted to the Production Manager Department and Production Laboratory, which is staffed by the specialists, having appropriate skills and has been qualified in the sphere of advancement of the state metrological supervision system.
The quality control system is implemented at Fruit Master Foods stage by stage and comprises the following stages:
- incoming control of raw and auxiliary materials;
- process maintenance control (to be carried out with the use of operational, selective and special control methods, each havingits own specifics);
- formulation maintenance control (to be carried out in the blending process);
- sanitary-and-hygienic control (to be carried out during the whole processing);
- finished product control (to be carried out in the course of production and product acceptance tests).
To ensure the effective quality control results, the following resources have been made use of:
- provision of the production laboratory qualified in the sphere of advancement of the state metrological supervision system;
- furnishing the production laboratory with advanced laboratory instruments used to gain accurate and reliable measurement data;
- regulatory base: application of appropriate standards to raw materials, finished products, testing and process following methods;
- supplies of materials and machinery to the laboratory-and-production departments;
- employment of highly skilled personnel and organization of the advanced training system;
- rational organizational structure, proper personnel assignment and distribution of functional duties in order that every task assigned to a particular service may be fulfilled in due time, with proper quality and in the full volume.
All the Fruit Master Foods products have been certified and approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
At the current stage, the enterprise is involved in the intensive work on the development and implementation of the integrated quality and food safety system according the standards of series ISO 9000, ISO 22000
«100 – pudoviy» Supermarkets
Distribution chains represent the rapidly growing business in Ukraine. Acting as the producer of food, the Fruit Master Foods Company is interested in developing additional sales outlets through organization of its own distribution chains.
2 supermarkets have been put in operation by today, which are located in the territory of Western Ukraine in the town of Beregovo. The 3rd supermarket (above 2000 m2 in area) is planned to be open in December, 2007, Khoust. Besides, the project for construction of the 4th shop in the town of Vinogradovo has been launched.
The Company aims to continue the intensive development of its distribution chain in 2008, as well during subsequent periods. It is in the interests of the Company to construct a local chain in the Western Ukraine, which would be able to become a major player in this business.
